What I do. I provide professional copywriting, editing, and proofreading services. When an individual or organisation needs a little assistance with their virtual 'voice', I create uplifting, easy-to-follow, engaging copy that will resonate with their audience. I ensure that grammar is impeccable and error-free - poor grammar is highly offputting and can be detrimental to the success of a business. I also utilise the best tone for your project. Proofreading is a process of reading drafted work that you have created. I check for errors (and common grammar mistakes) and return your piece to you. I will not change any passages, but simply oversee mistakes. Editing is similar to that of proofreading, but is generally a more thorough process. I will make suggestions for a more comfortable overall read and potentially shift a few paragraphs around. Copywriting involves a fresh write from the off! You send me a brief and I create the work. This is the most detailed of all aspects of my work, but also the most popular for overworked professionals. The bar has risen and companies are under more pressure than ever to both deliver and maintain excellence to their followers. Don't let poor grammar, ill-reading dialogue and clunky copy be the reason that someone eliminates you from their buying list. I'm also a published author with Crystal Peake Publishing house. My debut dystopian novel is called Happy State. www.happystatenovel.com

“I am at my best in the morning, so I try to schedule all creative tasks before lunch. If I’m struggling in the morning, I use the classic strategies of changing where I’m working from, taking a break, or exercising in the hope of a Eureka moment.”

“I’ve always enjoyed writing but I didn’t set up on my own account until 2019. At that point I had been teaching for nearly two decades and had become frustrated with the academy trust to which my then school belonged. I took a plunge and set up as a freelance writer.”

“I wish we were all more honest when speaking to newer or younger copywriters and telling them what to expect in their career. It’s a hard job, it’s constantly evolving, and it’s still nowhere near as widely respected (as both an art and a science) as it should be.”

“Let your work breathe. While it’s tempting to send over to the client once a piece is ready, I try to give it at least 24 hours (where time allows!) before I go back in, review and send.”
