There are more than 600 freelance copywriters on this site. However, using the power of AI (armchair intelligence), I can help you find the one that's right for you in just 3 easy questions. All you have to do is answer 'yes' to each of them... Question 1: Do you want a copywriter who goes the extra mile and only files when your copy has been explored from every angle (UX, SEO, readability, CTAs, flow, etc.)? Question 2: Do you want a copywriter who is casually pretending to be chortling at something in his photo? Question 3: Can you easily be tempted out of hiring any of the other 599+ writers on this site? Congratulations! You have found your copywriter! Here's what I can do for you... 1/ Websites. If your website isn't cutting it, I'll dissect it, reimagine it, plan out a better way of coming at things and then deliver sparkling copy built with user experience, conversion and SEO in mind. This is what I do most days (please see my website for testimonials). 2/ Interviews. When you need a seasoned scribbler to speak to someone important (case studies, CEO interviews, customer stories etc), I lean on 20+ years of experience and literally thousands of successfully completed jobs to get you what you need. I regularly put heart and soul into other kinds of work too, such as: * Marketing emails * Survey results * Corporate copy * White papers * Brochures and more. Over the years I have: * Got lost in creative work for everyone from Samsung to Cannes Lions and Harrods. * Generated meticulously planned and written launch copy for dozens of websites – large and small. * Generated social media content for all the main channels. * Penned copy for technical guides, flyers, billboards, packaging and LinkedIn profiles. * Done a whole load of other stuff that I can't remember right now. If you need a go-getting, efficient, highly-skilled writer who just 'gets' things quickly and doesn't faff about... drop me a line :) www.bymikepeake.com

You're busy, so let's keep this quick. Here are 4 questions my clients ask: ONE: How much do you charge for copywriting and content writing? Between £275 and £375 per day, depending on your business, the writing which is needed, and the deadline. Small businesses and charities generally pay less than agencies and larger businesses. Once we have a discovery call and I learn all about your business, I'll create a bespoke proposal outlining your whole project and the exact costs. You'll know the full costs of the project before you sign the contract. The only reason the price will change is if the scope changes, but we'll discuss this if it arises. TWO: Are you available now? Sort of. Very likely, yes. I intentionally leave lots of space in my diary for quick projects, such as a page of website copy, or a couple of blogs. So, if I can squeeze in some work I will. I really get a kick out of helping people, and I get that you might need some copy fast. Depending on the exact deadline you need (AKA: how late I'll have to work in the evening or if I'm working over a weekend) I might need to include a 25% rush fee. Generally, it takes around 6- 8 weeks to complete a copywriting project like a white paper or a full website. I can be booked for these projects 2- 3 months in advance. We can discuss exact deadlines in your discovery call. THREE: Are you an experienced copywriter? Yes. I've written everything from SEO blogs to Instagram captions to Deliveroo listings. I've written white papers and website copy. I've written newsletters and emails and product descriptions. I'm pretty gosh darn confident I could write anything you wanted. I mostly write for fabulous small UK business owners, but I've also worked with digital agencies, national brands, and international businesses. My writing has even appeared in the press, and I've got a burgeoning Substack newsletter. Head to my website for examples of my writing. FOUR: What happens when a client works with a copywriter?Everyone's got their own processes, but this is how I work best. 1. We start with a discovery call, which lasts up to 30 minutes. This is where I learn exactly what you’re looking for, the deadline, and your budget. 2. I’ll write you a proposal. If you’re happy to proceed, I’ll send you a contract and an invoice for 50% of the fee. 3. It's time for you to create a super detailed brief. I can help you with this. 4. I write your first draft and send it to you. You tell me about anything which needs to be edited. 5. I edit the first draft and send draft two back to you, with the final invoice. 6. You upload the copy to your website, or send it to your email list, or post on social media, and start engaging with your customers. 7. (And, perhaps you write me a lovely testimonial too? Hey, a girl can dream!) That's it! Easy, huh? "Bonnie refined my brand voice and optimised what I wanted to say into a condensed and easy- to- read format. All my conversations with Bonnie were natural and productive. She delivered all that she promised in a timely and professional manner." I can't wait to meet you and hear all about your business. Hello, I'm Hannah, a doctor turned copywriter. I currently work for companies in the health, health tech, pharmaceutical and charity sector. My clinical background puts me in a great position to provide accurate, evidence-based medical information and advice to audiences via copy written for websites, apps, brochures, email newsletters, social campaigns and journal articles. MY STORY I originally trained as a doctor and worked across hospital wards and in general practice for several years before becoming a medical copywriter. To gain experience, I wrote copy for clients across all sectors, including transport, construction, lifestyle and fashion, and I still love getting stuck into a writing project outside the medical sector. I was awarded a Copywriting Diploma with distinction, and now work full time as a copywriter. For the last year I have been writing and editing for an award-winning healthcare technology company, alongside smaller projects in FemTech, mental health, personal and professional growth. My flexible, friendly services include content creation, articles, blog writing, SEO website content, tone of voice, editing and proofreading. First up, let's be clear about our assumptions: I'm going to assume you're doing your *thing* pretty darned well. You might not be the best. Or the most premium. Or the most well-known. But you're not a hot mess and there are real reasons why customers should choose you. If this *isn't* true, close this browser window right now and go fix those things that are holding you back. Because I can't polish a turd. Or maybe I can polish it a bit. But it'll never shine quite like something of a less turdy nature. Like some nice metal. Or a jewel. But if it IS you, and you know that your words could be working harder, then you've come to the right place. So a bit about me... * Having started out at legendary brand agency Wolff Olins, I've worked with loads of big-name brands, across a ton of sectors. * Since going freelance in 2018, I've also helped lots of ambitious, growing businesses talk about what they do in a clear and meaningful way. * I'm versatile and adept at producing high-quality short and long copy, across all kinds of applications. And I can tell a story. * I keep a laser focus on the reader's needs, and will always champion clarity and accessibility. * Coming from a branding background, I know how to find your tone of voice, and can write clear guidelines that help everyone *get* it. * I'm a dream to work with (so say the people who've worked with me). If you're sensible, you'll want to see some work before hiring a copywriter. You'll find mine here: https://www.dylanparry.co.uk/ Assuming it leaves you with that warm n fuzzy feeling, please do get in touch. I'd love to talk.

I have worked with words one way or another for more than 30 years. I’ve long been fascinated by the way that people interact with, and are influenced by, the written word. The power of words to transform and persuade is my ongoing passion. I’ve studied creative writing and therapeutic writing and I’m trained to lead writing groups. My background is in journalism and I have worked as a reporter, feature writer and a sub-editor for various publications and outlets including The Daily Express, CA Magzine, The Mirror, STV, The Daily Mail, The Sun, The Daily Record and The Daily Star. Writing projects have included web content for new credit cards, website content for economic development, healthcare providers and charity sites, and destination descriptions for the National Trust for Scotland. I’ve looked after various content management systems, written bids for international lawyers, and created content surfaced as Google featured snippets. I’ve worked on clients’ business launches, rebrands and website redesigns. I live in Cumbria with my dog and youngest son.

“I am at my best in the morning, so I try to schedule all creative tasks before lunch. If I’m struggling in the morning, I use the classic strategies of changing where I’m working from, taking a break, or exercising in the hope of a Eureka moment.”

“I’ve always enjoyed writing but I didn’t set up on my own account until 2019. At that point I had been teaching for nearly two decades and had become frustrated with the academy trust to which my then school belonged. I took a plunge and set up as a freelance writer.”

“I wish we were all more honest when speaking to newer or younger copywriters and telling them what to expect in their career. It’s a hard job, it’s constantly evolving, and it’s still nowhere near as widely respected (as both an art and a science) as it should be.”

“Let your work breathe. While it’s tempting to send over to the client once a piece is ready, I try to give it at least 24 hours (where time allows!) before I go back in, review and send.”
